what works for me putting is putting to a point not the hole.i find my line and pick a point about one to two feet from the cup on that line and find my speed to that.very seldom do i 3 putt using this technique.just find a fcility with a nice practice green and get out there and practice

Practice, practice, practice.
That is all it takes.
Try a 34" putter. If your attempt is long then focus on a spot in front of the cup, and if the attempts are short pick a target behind the cup. Learn to read breaks and were the "natural fall lines" are. i.e the ocean is left so the fall line will be in the direction of the ocean or…and of course as Honestly Say’s practice….practice… practice.

LAG IT TO THE HOLE. DO NOT BE AGGRESSIVE JUST TWO PUT AND GET OUT OF THERE.
you can make long putts bt putting them in the cup!
Putting is all about distance control (speed). Long putts that are a little off line are no problem if they are the right distance.
i would say its your putter length. 28 inches is wayyyy to short for anybody over like 11 years old. im willing to bet if you get a longer putter you’ll make 10 times more putts
Try using a belly putter.
