VegasVideoNetwork.com Golf Other Fore-Letter Words host Dennis Silvers is joined by Terry Koehler, president of SCOR Golf. They review Webb Simpson’s first PGA win, discuss if long putters should be banned, and debate the usefulness of gap wedges.

Should the long putter be permitted? Should the long putter be allowed to be anchored to the body while being used in a putting stroke? Should we be allowed to take relief with the long putter?

I am 15 and can hit my shots fairly long and accurate. I cant backspin yet but can stick the ball… On 18 holes I normally shoot a mid 80. But I keep track of my putts per round and if I improoved Id be shooting low 70s as mainly every hole I have a chance for birdie or pars. Bogeys come from 3 putts. Is there any way to help putting, I bought the new Nike Method putter and it is great and I plan on buying a bigger winn grip. Is there any other proven putting helping method.. PLEASE! I want a 6.4 handicap to go into USA Junior Amatuer tournament and I know if my putting was great id be close to scratch. I dont want to sound cocky but its true. Someone plz show me anything I will take any advice that is good. THANK YOU SO MUCH

What should i expect out of my first round of golf, like my score, how long it’ll take, etc. I’m playing at a local 9 hole course. I’m 14 year old, mainly into baseball, decided to pick up golf, my grandfather bought me clubs and all (not cheap ones, Warrior driver, 5 and 7 wood, Wilson Di9 irons, Callaway Sand Wegde, and a Ping Putter) Also, any tips would be great! Thanks

Hi there, so my dad’s friend gave me a Cleveland Putter that he said goes with a matching set, the club or stick itself, look almost like a Pool Que, and seems a bit loose, and dated, but in decent condition. I guess my question is that the Putter is heavier, and i think it, and the ones with the set are a Man’s Set. So Should i get these clubs and use them? I figure that with the weight i can Increase my power level and distance, when i start using lighter Woman’s clubs when i rejoin my schools Golf team. My other and last question is that I’m Fairly short ("5’3"), and would this be a good choice when the putter is up to my waist. I’m sorry that this is so long but i just want to make sure i explained enough. THANKS. :D
