Ok, I love to golf and for my graduation present I was going to get a new Callaway 2-ball putter and my cousin was going to fit me etc. Anyway, I have been really sick for the past like 2 months with surgeries etc. So, I want the putter BUT, I want a fun present (like a trip or something). I don’t know which one to get. My parents said they would buy either as long as the trip wasn’t extremely expensive.
I don’t know if I should get the putter because I am going to gogolfing like almost everyday this summr, or if I should get the trip so I will have fun for like a week then come home and golf. I just need your opinion since you are all golfers (or like golf).
Any suggestions are welcome!

i have demo’d the 2-ball putter and i hit it pretty well. i was just going to get fitted so that it is made for me and i would hopefully it better 
please add why you are saying either trip or putter
The trip will probably be like 6-8 hours away to visit my cousin and his kids.. if I choose the trip, I can’t go somewhere fabulous b/c I am going on 2 really nice vacations this summer (south carolina and hawaii)

I am a female high school senior getting ready to graduate and move on to college. I have been playing golf for about five years now and I am one of the best players in my state. But recently I have been considering quitting golf and not playing at the university level. My handicap is 6, I can hit the ball a long distance, and I am a very good putter. Yet, I struggle to keep myself in the "zone" and I psyche myself out which leads me to losing the tournament. I lack motivation and willpower, and my dad has to almost force me to go and practice. I do not practice as much as I should and find excuses to not go and work on my game. Lately, I have beem scoring higher than I usually do and have not shown improvement. I know this is due to my lack of practice and discipline, but it is very difficult to do. I feel like I am disappointing everyone around me by not scoring the way I should, and people are expecting so much from me. My personal swing coach has told me that I have so much potential to become a professional and he truly believes I could be one of the best collegiate players. He has never told any of his students this and he his very harsh when it comes to telling the truth. My coach is almost family to me and I know he is not telling me that to make me feel better.
But I have been doubting myself, and I no longer want to raise expectations from people and then not accomplish what I need to do. I know that I do not practice enough but I do not know how to force myself to like practice and to go out onto the course with a positive attitude. Sometimes I don’t know if my lack of mental focus is attributed to my short amount of experience (5 yrs), or if I just can not handle the pressure of playing golf and moving on to the next level. I don’t want to play collegiate golf if it means that I am only gonna fail. I want to be able to play to the best of my ability, but I do not have the discipline to bring my best out. I love golf so much – it’s my passion; but at the same time, it causes me so much stress and confusion. So I don’t know if I should quit and not go onto the collegiate level; or if I should continue playing?
