I just started practice last year and buying my 1st putter. My mom got me the Titleist red X3, but after comparing i think it’s kind long for me since i’m not tall.

which one should i exchange to? i read many reviews and ppl recommend different ones… but out of Odyssey, Ping and Taylor Made, which would be a good choice to start on? thx
i tried most of it in store and can’t feel the difference, the sales person say that since i’m a newbie , i wont know the diff. til later…. >.<

Long drive with putter, Hitting a ball 220 yards with an old putter.

I often see people on the course and even pro’s in big tournaments use the tip of their putter to get out of very peculiar situations (usually unstable ground right around the green). I recently read that a club is only allowed one striking face, or two, so long as both striking faces are identical.

Usually this is done with a bullseye style putter, and the tip of the putter is definitely not identical to the main striking face. Is this an oversight in the rules, or am I misinterpreting the rules regarding the club face?
There are also high loft chipping clubs that have two identical faces (they look like trapezoids from a profile view).

When a part of the club contacts the ball, it seems that would make it a striking face.

I work as a caddie at an up-scale golf course. I myself am a long time golfer, and when I need to read putts, I use my putter shaft to judge the break. However, when I’m caddying, I cant use that method. I don’t see most of the subtle breaks in the greens, and usually avoid reading putts because I don’t trust my judgment. Are there any tricks like the putter shaft that can help me read putts? If not, what else can I do to get better?

Years ago I putted a few really long putts on a green with my driver. I found that I was extremely accurate and was able to judge lag putts beautifully. I recently started to do it again, just for fun, same result. With 14 clubs in my bag, including a Ping G2 My Day putter. Is it allowed to alternate with the two as and when I wish, or are there limitations on the use of the driver as a putter? Weird, but you don’t ask you don’t learn!

When I drive my car it starts out fine except for it shifts kinda hard from first to second gear sometimes. After driving for about 15 to 20 min my car when stopped will get stuck in second gear and then eventually putter out and shut off. If i try to start it back up it will not start up right away most times and if it does will putter out and shut off again. So I will let the car rest and drive for as long as i can before it shuts off again. After I let it sit over night i will be able to drive it for 15 – 20 min before it starts again. I brought it to the car shop and they said after fixing the overhead cam sensor that i should bring it to a dealership cause they dont know whats wrong. The car is a 1995 dodge neon with 102,000 miles on it. Please help.
