I live in Los Angeles area. I need a good place to get myself fitted for a putters. I used to use a 34", and switched to a 33" and then a 32.5" and thought it’d be better. But I still can’t seem to get my stroke right… and I know 35" is definitely way too long. I know it can definitely be my stroke instead of the putter. But I’ve been following all the guidelines on how to putt and it’s just not working. I’m pretty confused on which length should i stick to and am lack of knowledge to really decide on that subject. I think i need to go get myself fitted on length, lie and all that. So anyone who knows a good place that can be more detailed in putter fitting, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it.
Anthony… can you recommend somewhere GOOD? I tried Roger Dunn in Santa Anita. It was not informative nor detailed.
All very good suggestions. But I would like to have more information on some specific fitter or teaching pro that you or your friends have tried and liked. Thanks.
To Donald: Yes, I agree with you. but i’m a die hard Scotty Cameron fan. And i have 4 putters in his name. I think i’ll stick to his brand for now.
Can someone please give me some names of the places around LA area that does a good job in fitting and putting instruction? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

I am a writer. I live in Trinidad in the west Indies. There are no writing camps on my island. I have had some success with a play I wrote a few years aback, but find it difficult to really settle down to my book in progress. The computer is constantly contracting viruses (although we have anti-virus in place), and I have lost more manuscripts than I care to remember – despite backkups and hard copies, Added to which I do not get much time on the computer, because I reside with my family who has priority, since they built it, upgrade and maintain it. The downside of that being everytime my whizz computer sons do something, or add something new, I’m lost for awhile. It is a real putter-offer. I go to our Public Library when I reall y need to get something done urgently, but one is only allowed an hour, and I am a two finger typist (but a fast two finger typist once I have been on the computer for a very long period of time. How do I get into a writing camp?

When I was going to put not too long ago, at address, I touched the ball with my putter, but it did not move. Do I get a penalty stroke for this? I know I don’t get a penalty stroke when touching the ball with my club at address at the fairway (as long as the ball does not move), but maybe there are different rules for the putting green?

Crazy college dudes…

I just got the Callaway GES club set that I bought on Ebay. It has three woods, three irons which are I think are hybrids but these are my first golf clubs so I’m a bit confused and a putter. There is no wedge, or at least nothing that says it is a wedge. The clubs are all labeled as driver, long fairway wood, mid fairway wood, long iron, mid iron, short iron and obviously putter. So I am curious if anyone knows which of these clubs I would use in sand? Right now I am just practicing driving but eventually I want to play on a course so will need to know which to use. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

I use my laptop every day and recharge it once a day (average). I have had it for 6 months and have noticed a slight decrease in battery life.

As for my MP3 player, I just got it from a friend. It’s a Samsung YP-P2. I use it to watch videos almost every day and recharge it every 4-5 days.

In your opinion, how long do you think both of these devices will last before their respective batteries putter and die out?
