The belly putter shaft is longer so that you can anchor the end of the belly putter grip right in the center of your body line. Your putting grip should stay the same. Your posture should stay the same too. Belly putters work better because there is less of a chance that you will push or pull the putterhead off line either going back or coming forward in the putting stroke. Will I have To Change My Posture With a Belly Putter? No. You can get a belly putter shaft that is long enough to touch your midsection without being so long as to force you to putt from a more upright stance. Belly putter shafts range from about 38 – 48 inches so you can get the right length for you. The photo below shows that Sergio Garcia putts with the same posture with his belly putter as his conventional putter. What Is the Proper Belly Putter Technique? The best putting stroke mimics a pendulum whether or not you are using a belly putter. How long will it take for me, a right handed golfer, to play the same level of golf as a lefty?

I’m 26, right handed, and I’m a 7.2 handicap when playing once a month. I’m more of the 2 handicap range when I do practice. However, I hurt my shoulder, and I was told not to play golf right handed for at least 6 months until it heals right. I am, however, allowed to play left handed because my right shoulder doesn’t stretch like it would if I were swinging right handed.

I’ve practiced for a month now(4-5 days a week) and I just shot 24 over with an 8 iron, driver, and a right handed putter earlier today.

How long would it take to get back to my right handed level if I continue to practice as hard as I have lately as a lefty?

FYI, I play right handed, but I’m left hand dominant.

1) Distance is much more important than direction 2) Try to roll long putts close to the hole (2-3 feet) There is too much pressure trying to make a 40-50 foot putt–be happy with a tap-in. 3) The stroke “favors” a gate type motion because a putter has a lie of 72 degrees NOT 90 degrees. 4) Golfers that take a putter straight back and straight through “SELDOM” become a good putter. 5) The set-up: -Eyes over the line. (not the ball) -Putter aims to the hole with feet and body aligning parallel. -Good posture– -There are many putting grips-I prefer the “reverse overlap ” -Hands “Hang” below shoulders. -Hips and heels are in alignment with each other. -Bend form the hips-slight bend in the knees. -”MAKE SURE the PUTTER FITS”-especially the length! -Ball position slightly forward (assist hitting up on the putt) 6) Bonus comments: Get an O-Ball-make sure the circle rolls end-over-end. (A Must) Strokes should have similar rhythm no matter how long the putt. You do not have to make a putt-just do your very best and accept the results with a smile. Hit the putt on the third stroke-visualize and practice your feel on the first two. Stroke the putt and listen-golfers look-up way too soon (watch Tiger) Learn about ; into and down grain; breaking putts; types of grass and the term touch and feel. (online) Drills: 1) Look at the hole, 2) Putt with your eyes closed and 3) Putt with the right hand only. (Tiger’s favorite)

I am a pretty decent putter and im great with my long irons, but I have problems when it comes to delicate chips. This is a big problem because I usually have 100 yards or less into the green. Does anyone have any drills that could help me????

Right now I have a 35" shaft.
Is it too long or too short?

I don’t know much about golf, but i wanted to get my fiance a really nice christmas gift this year. He is 6’2” w/ a long body, Should I be concerned about the size of the putter? What about Irons? Shouldn’t they be a certain length as well?

I had a hole in the fill hose to my gas tank, and it stormed causeing a bunch of water to get into my tank. The tank has been drained, fuel filter changed, and the hole patched up. Also I put a additive that is supposed to help with water in the gas tank. I’ve got about half a tank left, but it is still puttering here and there as if I still got water mixed in. (mind you the tank has been drained and refilled)

My question is once this tank runs out. Will my truck most likely begin running normally? Or could I have caused some damage somewhere else. Should I expect to change the plugs soon?
