I am a pretty good golfer. I am 14 going on 15. I am a 14.5 handicap but I would be a 9 or so if I was a better putter. Sometimes I will putt it short and sometimes I will putt it long. A couple of people down the street have a putting green. One is about a normal speed green and the other one is slow but he also lets me chip. So which green should I use and what can I do to become a better putter?

Just got a taylormade Daytona blade putter. It was the one that felt best to me in the store. Even betterthan the camerons. Anyways I love it but it needs to get cut down. I’m 5’10" and stand over the ball a bit and it’s a 35 " putter. So I’m thinking it may need to get cut down to a 33" or so.

For now I’m just choking down on it but I just was wondering if cutting a 35 down to a 33 is ok. I don’t know if they all have different angles or something meaning there is a certain lie or angle for a 33" 34" etc or if it’s ok just to bring it to a clubmaker to cutit down some. And if so does anyone know how much it is to resize a putter?
I would have gotten a shorter one but it was the last one they had In stock. It was 0 which was a better deal than I could find locally at least. So it won’t affect the club in anywayby cutting it down? And how much usually is a regrip. Sorry this is my first year so I’m pretty new with all this
thank you Harry. I think I may have to just return it. I love the putter but the length is just to much. Any suggestions on good blades? I was also looking at a bettenardi and a karsten anser. Ugh this is almost worse than finding the right driver

How to hit a putter off a tee

I bought a Ping G2i anser putter a while back, and I guess everything on it is standard. It has never really fit me well, but I can deal with it. So I was just wondering how much it would cost and how long it would take to go through the process of getting my putter fitted to me.
If it helps, the closest place I know that can fit putters is a Golfsmith store.

This Video from the Whittle Golf Tips Series shows technique to improve feel and consistency on lag putting. By relaxing hands and wrists a player can develop a better feel for hitting solid long putts.

It is played like golf where the player is using the all-wooden putter/club that looks like a long hammer..Sometimes I see this game played by the elite/rich people..sometimes can be featured on movies as well played by the rich and famous…
